Tuition & Financial Aid
AYPO is able to offer a number of scholarships, as well as financial aid on a need-based assessment. This support comes from grants and the AYPO Endowment which is always eager to receive new benefactions in order that we may expand those for whom we can give support.
Financial aid applications for the 24-25 season will be reviewed on a rolling basis through the start of the season by the financial aid committee. The deadline to submit is December 2024.
Tuition amounts for the 2024-2025 season are as follows:
Philharmonic (AYP): $1,350
Symphonic Orchestra (SO): $1,300
Sinfonietta: $1,250
Concert Orchestra (CO): $1,250
String Ensemble (SE): $1,100
Debut Orchestra (DO): $1,000
Prelude Strings (PS): $650
AYPO Flute Ensemble: $800
AYPO Harp Ensemble: $800
AYPO Clarinet Ensemble: $800 *NEW full season Sept.-May
AYPO Symphonic Harpists: $1,000
AYPO Symphonic Pianists: $775
AYPO Percussion Ensemble only: $475
There is a separate tuition for the Chamber Ensemble Programs for all musicians:
Senior Chamber Ensemble Program: $300
Junior Chamber Ensemble Program: $275
* Tuition includes a welcome package of a t-shirt (if requested) and two tickets to every regular orchestra concert during the season. For tuition questions please reach out to tuition@aypo.org.
Financial Aid: Need-based aid for partial and full tuition is available for the 2024-2025 season. Please fill out the application below or if you prefer to email the form click here. Financial aid applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through the start of the season by the financial aid committee. Financial aid applications cannot be submitted after December 2024. Questions about tuition can be directed to tuition@aypo.org.
