Artistic Staff

Thomas Cupples, Assistant to the Music Director, American Youth Philharmonic

Thomas Cupples works with Luis Haza, Music Director of the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras, and assists with the weekly orchestra rehearsals for the American Youth Philharmonic. Mr. Cupples has been a trumpet player for the National Symphony Orchestra at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC since the 2005-2006 season. Prior to joining the NSO, Mr. Cupples served as Principal trumpet of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra.
